The focus of Covenant Life Church is to preach the good news of Gods present Kingdom, and exalt Jesus Christ, as both Saviour and King.

We Believe “God is Spirit”, God doesn’t live in a body as we do. He is not limited to space or time as we are. He doesn’t need a heaven to live in seeing that He is infinite. All created things have limits, and are subject to those limits. However God is not limited to anything. He is omnipresent and unchangeable. Nothing can increase or diminish His perfection. 

We believe in One God. That He revealed Himself to the world through His Son Jesus Christ. And that Jesus is the only way creation will ever see God. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of a virgin. Jesus the Son of God, fully man and at the same time by the Spirit that dwelt within Him, God "manifested in the flesh".  ( Matthew 1:18-23; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1; John 5: 18-27; John 8:58; John 10:30; Col 2:9; 1Timothy 3:16 )

We believe that Jesus suffered and died for our sin  under Pontius Pilate after being handed over by the unbelieving religious authorities of the time, to whom Judas had betrayed Him. He died on the cross and was buried in a tomb.   ( Matthew 26:46- 27:66; Mark 14:42 - 15:47; Luke 22:1- 23:56; John 18:1-19:42 )

We believe the same Body that was beaten and crucified arose on the third day alive again, and glorified, by the power of God. He was seen by as many as 500 witnesses at once, and that He ascended into the heavens. ( Matthew 28: 1-10; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24: 1-53;  John 20:1-31 )

We believe,  The mystery that was hidden from ages and generations is now made manifest to His saints and that Christ living in us is the only hope of glory.  He inhabits His Church which is His body, of which He is "now" the head! (1Corinthians 6:19;            1Corinthians 12:12 - 27;  Colossians 1:27;  Acts 2:1-21).

We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, and that it is by grace, through faith. ( Romans 3:21-24; Romans 5:1-2; Romans 6:23; Romans 8:9; Galatians 3:11; Ephesians 2:8-9 )

We believe, the truth makes men free and that an experencial knowlege of the Lord, will result in a desire for the word of God.  That the word of God is a divine seed that is planted in our hearts. And as He reveals Himself to us, we are changed into His image. ( 2Corinthians 3:18, John 3:3,  John 12:23-26, Romans 14:17,  1Timothy 6:11 )

We believe in the gifts of the Spirit, and that God distributes to each one as He wills.We further believe, as long as there is a Church in the earth, the Lord will manifest Himself by the 9 spiritual gifts  in the church.   It is not expected that everyone will have, or manifest, the same gifts but all who are His, will grow in both the fruit and gifts of the Spirit, and exhibit the one quality by which we know we are His " LOVE". ( 1Corinthians 12:7-13, 1Corinthians 12: 28-30, 1Corinthians 13, Galatians 5: 22-23 )
